Mike, I need to send my Superchip back to you for the 4.6L blower update. Upon reinstall, how long will it take to be up & running. With a normally aspirated 4.6L it took about 400 miles. My blower kit should arrive Wed. or Thurs.

OK, for that custom program we'll need to send you (if we haven't already) the custom program worksheet for you to fill out & return to us, we can either FAX or snail-mail this form to you. Once we have that back from you, then we can get to work on your new custom program for your blower. Because of the use of screen names here, I don't remember your actual name at the moment (forgive me!), so if we haven't already sent you that form, I'd suggest giving us a call or shooting us a quick email with either a FAX number or your mailing address so we can get the custom program worksheet on it's way to you ASAP.

To answer your question, once you re-install the Superchip, it goes to work immediately, and will be felt very quickly as long as the ECU is properly cleared. If the ECU is not fully cleared, then it comes in gradually, talking a few hundred miles or so.

There are also adjusments made by the long-term fuel curve, and those adjustments usually happen somewhere around 350-500 miles after a reset of the ECU or a change of program for the ECU, so that may well be what you felt at about 400 miles, as they usually get a bit stronger at that point when those adjustments are automatically made.
