I was hoping Mike or some other member could verify this.

I recently picked up a 1715 programmer to replace my blue chip (1100?) original purchased from Mike Troyer. I got a decent deal on it from a 3rd party as it was used (but VIN unlocked).

The main reason I got it was to compensate for larger tires. I have BFG 285/75/R16's on it (32") and have never been able to adjust the speedo/shift points (dealer can't do it).I also liked the scan code reading ability.

My truck is a 2000 Expedition XLT with the 5.4, engine code ZUT2.

The tuner works great (haven't driven it yet), but there is no "87 Octane" program. I was hoping for this. The manual says it may not be available for all vehicles. Guess mine is one of them.

Mike, is there an update for the tuner that adds in the 87-octane for this engine? Can I pay to have it sent somewhere and updated? There is no date on the back of the tuner, it just says "F 3.05". The Performance and Tow-Perf programs are there, so I think it is one of the 3 program tuners.
