Post Sheetz gas

Mike have you heard anything about Sheetz gas here in VA? They're popping up all over the place.

I was starting to think no one in the country but me had a Sheetz nearby. I live 30 mi. from corporate HQ & we've had them for 25+ yrs. The gas is runnable-not very great. If you're near a Giant Food that has gas, that gas is as good or better than Amoco-Sunoco-Mobil in my area-southcentral Pa.

Hi clancyb,

You're right about that, they're popping up left & right here in VA & elsewhere, and I agree with redlariet, it doesn't seem to be a particularly good fuel, we haven't done any real "testing" of it of course. I'd avoid it simply because there are just too many other fuels available known to be of good quality. We may find at some point that they (Sheetz) use a decent fuel, but it's not a brand I would count on as being higher quality or consistently acceptable, in terms of getting the best performance from the Superchip, which is what I assume you mean.

Stay away from that Sheetz gas. There's so much junk floating in it that you'll kill your fuel filter before it's time. Same goes for their hot dogs!
