Question superchip + pro-m

I have a superchip and a 80mm pro-m mass air. I was wondering if the chip had to be tweaked for that.

Hi yapstr,

Welcome to F-150 Online! We're delighted that you decided to join the rest of us here, & we hope you'll enjoy this site.

Yes, anytime you have an aftermarket MAF (mass airflow meter), the Superchip needs to have a custom program done to correct the gross leaning out of the air/fuel ratio that those aftermarket MAF's cause. The Pro-M 80mm unit (and most others, for that matter) causes a full 2 point leanout of the A/F, and that *must* be corrected immediately for safe use with the Superchip, otherwise you will be running too lean.

If you need someone to do this service for you, you can contact us off the message boards, our contact info is just below for your convenience.

And we hope you'll hang out with us here when you have spare time (or should I say *if* you have spare time?), it's a great site filled with information about these vehicles, etc., and a lot of nice people as well.

Good luck!
