Hi Fast,

I can't believe it, after all this time, congratulations!!

The email you just got is the confirmation, everybody gets sent that confirmation automatically so nobody will call. So don't worry about that, you don't need to keep the phone lines free waiting for a call from us, you're all set!

What you'll want to do now is to run all the low-octane gas out of there (assuming you're using regular), let the gas run down to at least as low as is required for the low fuel light to come on. Then fill it up with a good quality premium gas like Texaco, Amoco, etc., and you'll be all set for the Superchip to arrive and be installed.

After all this time, good for you, Fast!

Hi Fast,

Well, let's see.......I think the next slow boat leaves here in a couple of weeks, and then it takes about a month to get around the African continent, and then... ok, I'm just kidding, I couldn't keep that up with a straight face.

Figure from where we are to where you are, with the method of shipping you selected, you should see it in a few days, probably about Wednesday.

Now of course somebody is going to have to come up with an appropriate F-150 Online slogan for you Fast, now that you've finally taken the plunge after all your posts over the past few years! (just kidding!)

Have fun & congrats again,

As Damon said in Fast Times at Ridgemont High, "Chip it...you won't regret it." Or something like that! Enjoy!

Hi Fast,

Sure, UPS Red is overnight delivery, so that is always faster than UPS Ground. It's also a bunch more expensive, and we hate to see anyone paying UPS that much money, but we aim to please, so it's available for those who can't wait.

You need a little time to get to feeling better anyway, so I'm sure you'll hold up under the strain of "Superchip anticipation" there, Fast. Heck, you've waited for years, a coupla days won't matter now, will it? Or maybe it's even worse because you're so close, it's finally been ordered, but it still isn't there yet? OK, I'm just teasing with you now.

All kidding aside, we hope you start feeling better, & you'll be enjoying that Superchip very soon now.

For tools, you need a small straight-screwdriver or similar implement, and then a 10mm socket & rachet. It's also nice if you have a good strong bright light and a magnifying glass, or something that you can use to enlarge your view of the connector when you go to clean the coating off. It's not absolutely a must of course, so it's no big deal if you don't have anything to magnify that view, but if you do happen to have something, that's always helpful, since that coating you'll be cleaning off of there is clear in color.

Don't worry, all you need to do is take your time and read *all* of the documentation that comes with your Superchip, nnd your installation will go just fine.
