Superchip for V-6 manual?
Okay I am curious...Everyone is raving about the performance that a superchip gives to auto's...Will I see much of a difference on a v-6 manual...I have a 1 into 2 catback with a spintech muffler and a K&N...I was wondering what to expect...Thanks

Yes it does help the 4.2 with 5 Spd, it helps most under 2500rpms which is where our trucks need it the most! But you can also feel the improvements throughout the mid and upper rpm range. It is a worthwhile mod and in my opinion gave me the most improvement in driveability for the least amount of money. Get in touch with Mike T. and get the chip you will be sure to like it!

Yes, the Superchip works just fine on vehicles with manual-transmissions, this is one of the most commonly-asked questions.
There is no difference in the amount of power gained by the engine in these vehicles whether you have a manual or an automatic transmission, the power gain is the same. One nice thing about having a manual is the fact that it only absorbs about half as much power to turn it compared to an automatic, so you will get more of that gain to the rear wheels than an automatic would, so in that sense, you actually come out a bit ahead.
