Post Superchip is in!

Well, my need for speed (a.k.a. The Superchip) arrived this afternoon just as Mike said it would. It took me about 2 hours to get it in only because I had to go back and clean the connectors (duh, when the instuctions say super clean they mean it,)
I have never been the best at reading instructions, however once I went over the connecters again I put the computer back in a vaaaaaaaaroooooooom! I knew I had it this time....she purred like a kitten on catnip!
Now it was time for a test drive. I put her in gear and she took of like a bad out of hell....literally. I kinda took it easy coming home, kinda gett'n the feeling for all this new power under me. I stopped to cash my check and top the tank off with some of that good Texaco 93 and headed over to see the boys. Upon stopping at a major light some young'n pulled up beside me and wanted to go. Well, why not...all these mods and a new chip to boot, I had to go. We exchanged revs for a sec and bang! The light turned and I was off and running...by time I looked down I was doing 80 and The kid was waaaaaaaaaaaay back there! Just goes to show you that it is *all* worth it and the superchip delivered what it promises! Much smoother shifts, higher revs and a whole lot of fun!!! I want to thank Mike T again for all of his *outstanding* customer service, professional advice, and for a few laughs. I will be taking my "vice-president of Finance" out for a cruise to show her how much bang I got for my buck! Hopefully will be sleeping in the house tonight and not my truck...

Hi Murray,

Thanks for a funny post!

We're delighted you're enjoying the Superchip, and hopefully your wife will too, since she gave the go-ahead, you might as well let her have a taste of it, but watch out, she might want to drive your vehicle instead of hers if you're a 2-vehicle family.

Have fun,
