After deep thought and a consultation with my "financial advisor" (thanks for that one Mike T) I ordered my superchip today. This decision also came with some extensive reading/research of all the threads and a few conversations with Mike T. I just wanted to thank Mike and members for all thier help and valuable info. I for one am grateful, and it has helped me make a few "well informed" choices in the past few weeks. Thks all, can't wait till the chip gets here Friday.. Will post results after the weekend!
(and just for the record, I would never expect power on demand unless my truck gets blown!! Maybe a future add on if the "financial advisor" sees fit. We will see! Once again thks Mike!!

Most of us married guys have to deal with this too, and it's only right, these are our wives, and they come before any motor vehicle.

Remind me to tell you the story sometime about the guy who made the most outrageous lie to his wife in order to get the Superchip, it's hilarious.

Sorry about the miss quote, I knew his was something like that and my wife really is and I would be lost with out her. I think she gets a rise out of it when I tell her that she is the "advisor" or " chief banker" in of the house. I have always beleived that house/family come first and what ever is left over is yours. (my wife has to sometimes remind of that when she sees the "evil, I want to buy something grin")However, I can sympathize with those guys who have to lie and cheat to get upgrades, must be man thing that some women just don't get! Don't give that quote a thought, I use several of them to refer to my wife, all denoting her basic position of pretty much total authority, to protect me from myself. I think most of us hot-rodders need them, otherwise we'd be sleeping in our 10-second machines instead of having a real roof over our heads, looking for spare change to feed 'em gas.
