Thanks to all for your words of wisdom. I ordered my chip today... my wife and I can't wait for the "increased gas mileage" this enhancement will offer

Cyclone: I hope you understand that the Superchip is a "Performance" chip. A lot of the people using it will see fuel milage increases but it's not something that's ganranteed. And depending on how you drive (foot to the floor) you could actually see a drop in fuel milage. Especially when you first install it and you're testing out all that new power. After you get used to it and you return to your normal sane driving habits, then you could start seeing better milage.

I believe the winking eye in cyclone's post was meant to indicate that he told his wife they would see "increased gas mileage" so she would let him buy the chip. I could be wrong, but I think that's what he was going for. I'm lucky. As long as I keep making the money for the two of us, my wife WANTS me to have fun with my new truck and buy things for it. Hopefully, a Superchip will be part of my truck in the near future.

You nailed it SorryBro! I guess I should be a little less subtle. Thanks Tina for your concern though... Knowing there are people like you out there looking to correct any misconceptions is exactly what makes this board so valuable.
