Hi Jason,

Yes! Call the toll-free number that was included with your documentation specifically for that purpose, on the red card in your documentation, and they'll be happy to get that information to you. Just ask for Tech Support, and they can walk you right thru it in most cases.

If you have any problems, you can always give us a call as well, we're always happy to help, and I can give you a contact name down there too, just give us a shout, ok?

My understanding is that they (meaning Superchips)just very recently started doing some updates on their web site, and I don't know how soon that jumper info will be back up that our documentation mentions, as soon as we have that info we'll make that change in our additional documentation that we supply as well, so everyone wil have accurate info. My apologies for that change on the manufacturers web site, we knew they were going to be updating, but had no idea that URL for the jumper info would change or not be available temporarily.

Thanks mike. I called the 800 # and the techs e-mailed the documents i needed. I only wish i had the info last night when i was installing. Very anxious to get on the road. Just a thought...of possibly including the printouts of the boards with the chip?? Thanks again!

Hi Jason,

OK, glad you got the info!

We don't include all that simply because it's usually readily available on the manufacturer's web site, so we don't need to include another 7 pages of documentation with every Superchip that we ship. We always include much more documentation than the manufacturer supplies with each Superchip, so if we were to include all the info on all the various boards too, we'd end up with a book with every Superchip, just for the 1 in 10,000 that may be affected by the jumper misconfiguration, not very practical.

In this case, it was a problem just becuase of them starting updating the web site, and not having the jumper page back up yet, and that will be taken care of shortly, making it a mute point.

Glad you got what you needed, Jason, and let us know if we can be of further assistance.
