Mike...problem with chip or is this normal?
When I'm at about 70 in OD and I step on the gas it sometimes feel like it now downshifting. The rpms got to about 3200 rpm and slowly crawl up to about 3500 by then im ussually at about 95 mph. I know I can turn the od switch off but is this a normal occurence with my chip.

Hi 1998Nastruck,
Well, without actually driving the vehicle and experiencing this, if I understand you correctly, it sounds like normal torque converter unlocking to me, that will happen anytime you're at cruising speeds if you touch the brake pedal or give it more gas, it does that in anticipation of you needing more power. When it unlocks, your rpms will go up by a few hundred, and it can feel almost like a downshift, enough so that many people think it's actually downshifting, when in fact it's just normal TQ lockup function.
You might want to give us a call and let's go over this in a bit more detail if you like, and make sure that I have the correct understanding of what you're experiencing.
