Lightning queations
I have decided to order a 2001 Lightning. What are some normal sales prices for these such as how much off the sticker or how much above cost do the normally go for? There is only one dealer in my area that can sell them, so I'm just wondering how much if any dealing the do. Thanks in advance.

The base sticker price of the Lightning when first introduced (and I don't know if this has changed for 2001) was $29,995.
Most guys have sticker prices of $31K and change or so, and are paying anywhee from $2000 or more over list price, all the way down to around $28K when somone gets a good deal.
Most dealers do not discount Lightnings at all, so it takes some scrounging to get a deal. I do know that in Michigan, there are a lot of Ford SVT dealerships, and they *do* discount them up there due to the competition from other SVT dealers, around the Detriot area if nowhere else.
