Post Lowest Price for a Superchip?

What is the lowest advertised or quoted price you've seen for the Superchip (new in box)? Where did you see it? How do I contact them?

Cool

I received mine at the door today. I already had my computer terminal prepped and just plugged it in. I had just enough fumes in the tank to make it to the gas station an fill up with some 93 octane. Computer code YBQ3, and 1999.....no I didn't have the no start problem but I was ready with my soldering Iron just in case. Thanks Mike for the Awesome service, courtesy, and great price!

Thumbs up

Pickupman: I can give you the lowest price on a Superchip. I tried their product and was so impressed that I became a dealer. I know what the cost is to gain horsepower, I have built racing outboard engines for 10 years. If interested, drop me an e-mail at ddracing@worldnet.att.net. D

The nitrous suggestion has me thinking... It's a daily driver so I want it around a few years. Best no go there.

My only reason for buying a Superchip is to improve the acceleration The way to know how well they work is ask other v6 owners if they measured the gain.

Mike, maybe you can answer as a representative of Supechips. Is there any reason the 0-60, 1/8, or 1/4 times are not published by Superchips? I saw HotRodSix posted a dyno graph that showed an 11hp gain so I believe the products work. I also believe that burning the required premium gas with the reprogrammed timing curves will make the truck feel different - improved. Just like putting a different exhaust or opening up the intake will give it a new feel. When all is said and done is the only gain about 2/10 of a second?

I read a magazine article last summer where 4 different performance chip companies tested their products to see how they compared against each other and a stock run in a turbochared 4 cylinder. I think it was an Audi or VW and I don't think Superchips was included in the test. The results were amazing - 2 second improvements in 0-60 runs. It showed dyno runs with each chip and compared passing gear test too. If I ever bought a Turbo Beetle, no doubts, I would chip it!

So back to the task at hand, does anyone have actual timeslips, or just the numbers, they can post to show the gain in a v6?

Sorry gang, it's my 4th time posting and the above was supposed to be under my question on whether Superchips are worth putting in truck.

I think anyone could beat performanceford's price. They want $445 for a V10 chip and you can buy it from diesel injection service for $399. They start at $360 on e-bay.

Question

How come Ford chips are so expensive? I have bought at least a dozen chips for my Turbo Buicks. They range from $20 to $75. I know they have received much R&D. I send them back for "tweaks", at a cost of $0-$20. I love this board you have here! It offers so much info. Dave C.
