Mike I ordered my chip today
Mike, I just ordered the SCT6600. I was wondering about a few things. How long before I get the call to customize and is the programing included in the price? I've been reading the threads and researching for weeks now. I'm excited as hell. Thanks for all the great info.

1.) Yes, the custom tuning is generally included in the price of the custom chip or custom Micro Tuner. What is included is the custom tuning required for the exact mechanical configuration listed on our Custom Program Worksheets. The primary exception is when there is an aftermarket MAF meter, like a Pro-M (and in the aftermarket units, we prefer strictly Pro-M as they generally respond correctly) - in the case of an aftermarket MAF meter, there will be an additional charge as we have to develop a custom transfer function.
2.) Each custom program order is done on a first come, first served basis (and of course, we do not charge anyone's credit card until we're ready to ship the new tuning to each customer). When each order comes in, it goes in it's proper order so everyone is treated fairly time-wise - then when your tune hits the top of the stack, that's when I take a look at everything on your custom program worksheets & call you to do the phone consultation. We go over everything from if there are any things that need to be changed in the mechanical configuration to how the vehicle is being used, your geographic location, to driver preferences, etc. to come up with how we're going to do each of your new custom tunes.
At this point in the racing season, we usually have about 7-10 days of custom tunes waiting at a given time, so it's usually about 7-10 days from the time we get the custom program worksheets back until each person's new tuning is shipped out - it simply depends on how many tunes we have when each new order comes in - overall, we're pretty quick in getting them done as we specialize in tuning these FoMoCo trucks & SUV's.
So hang in there my friend, it won't be long - we'll call you when your order hits the top and go over everything, and at that point, it's generally only a day or so until the new tunes are finished and shipped out to you!
