Thumbs up mike i got my chip today.wow, wow, wow

i got it after i got off the phone with you.well i put it on,and what a diff. the reburn made.i have no pinging at all.even with the rev. move up to 6000 rpm.the shift are like stock right now.but last time it took time to make the shifts better, around 200 to 300 last time.the power down low is way better, that dive is gone when it shifts.i will test it more on my way to the doc's.well i am very happy with this superchip.my friend put a other chip on his f-150,last night.he has pinging down at 2500 rpm when getting on the highway, with a cop right behind him.so he was not giving it much gas.it gets worse as he put the gas down.he got it from someone that got it from here.ill find out what it is.now i need a chip for the wifes 98 trans am ls1.does superchip make a hand held programer.

Hi Kevin,

Glad to hear it. It takes a little time right now to get the custom programs back like yours, and they're very effective.

And yes, we have the hand-held programmer for your 1998 Trans Am, no problem! (It's just been released for the 1999 & 2000 F-body GM's with the LS1 motor as well) It's called the Micro Tuner 2001, so whenever you're ready for the details, just give us a shout by phone or email, and we'll go over all of that with you.

Have fun,

Hi 98 Screamer,

You're right, that *is* scary! You should never experience detonation like that, and you won't with the Superchip.

Any performance chip is going to require the use of premium gasoline, but as long as you use a good high-quality fuel, you should not have detonation issues like that.
