Superchip & Shift Kit?????
My Superchip should be here any day now UPS has it scheduled to be here on the 27th. It is for a CPE2 5.4. My question is, can i also get a shift kit and have both the superchip and a shift kit? Does Superchips make one? Also when i regear my truck will it effect the chip at all? I have 3:55lS and will probably have 4:10ls in a few days. Thanks

What we generally suggest is to use the Superchip for at least a few weeks before deciding that you also want to install one of those electronic shift improvers, like the B&M device, etc.
And yes, there are a number of people who are using both the B&M shift improver or other similar devices in conjunction with the Superchip. Also, some people are running a true shift kit, like the Transgo kit along with their Superchip.
Just so you'll know, over 98% of our customers who install the Superchip do not also use other devices, as they are very happy with what the Superchip does for their shift characteristics. Which is why we generally recommend using the Superchip alone first, to see if you really need more shift firmness.

HI!... RYSHARK5 : Forget about those electrical shift improvers, there crap in my opinion and I have heard from mechanics that if set at the "RACE" setting for long periods of time, it can fry internal selenoids inside the tranny. If you want firmer shifts after you install your SUPERCHIP, then do it the right way with a mechanical shift kit like the one I installed from, BAUMANN ENGINEERING . I have a custom SUPERCHIP that the tranny shifting firmness has been cranked up past the stock SUPERCHIP setting and the BAUMANN ENGINEERING shift kit set on stage 5. The truck literly bangs into 2nd gear and chirps the tires all the time. Ocassionally I can even get 3rd gear chirps. By the way you might have a slight problem with the SUPERCHIP/4.10 gear combination. When I first put my 4.10 gears in, I would always hit the rev limiter during the 1st to 2nd gear upshift. Enough to steal 3 tenths from my 1/4 mile times. I called MIKE T. and he helped SUPERCHIP's figure out what the problem was and fixed it. Hope this helps you out.

I also agree with Neal and have both the chip and a valve body shift kit. My favorite mods are the supercharger,chip,and shift kit, in that order.
