Another question for Mike
Another question for Mike
Mike I got a quick one for you. I have a 01 S'crew with a 4.6L, 3.55 gears, 4x2. I'm looking at putting in the Superchips Custom Tuning 5-program 4-bank Performance Chip. I like the idea of changing on the fly. Since I want performance thru the week and need to tow a bass boat on the weekends, would this be a could application? Thanks Pat.....
If your in Richmond next week I'll stop by and chat if your not swamped...

Hi Pat,
Sure, we can easily do something like that for you - that's the whole idea with the multi-program products, is to allow you whatever flexibility you need & want. We can easily do everything from an all-out drag race tune to a "pedestrian" fuel economy tune, a towing tune & everything else in between, all available at the turn of the **** - no problem.
I want to go to FFW in Richmond, but my head mechanic is on a long-planned vacation & I hate to do events without him - so I don't know for sure if I'll be there or not. I do already have hotel reservations just in case, we'll just have to see what happens.
If you like, you can call us here say, the middle of next week & get my cell phone# that I'll be using if I do go, so that you can reach me easily over that weekend, just in case.
Talk to you soon, & hope to see you in Richmond!

Hi Pat,
Hey, I like your F-150 S'crew emblem - I don't think I've seen that particular one before. There's plenty of nice shiny aftermarket F-150 emblems, but yours with the "S'crew" designation looks great - might have to get one for the side of our '04 S'crew!
Looks like we'll be in a motorhome at the track, if everything works out - we're working all of that out right now, actually, so we'll know for sure in a day or two & post back here for you - and of course, always feel free to call us!

Emblems
Hey Mike, those are factory emlems just cleaned up.
I took acetone to them took all the black gunk off and in the process Screwed up and wiped of the XLT logo! LOL So it looked pretty plain with all that space and decided something needed to go in there. Got ahold of my graphics guy and had him cut out the "S'Crew" in high quality red vinyl. (4.5" x 3/4") cleaned the plastic up and applied! That easy. Let me know what color and I'll see what I can do-- might have to get him a lap dance or something- then I'll get him to cut you a set and I'll mail them to you... Pat

Hi Pat,
Yeah, I recognized the stock emblems being acetoned of course - but what I didn't recognize was the "S'CREW" part - so I figured you had the entire emblem custom-made. Very cool that it was added with matching-color vinyl - works nicely in the photo, & thanks for the offer!
Hopefully I'll get a closer look at them in Richmond, & get you the color for our 2004 - we *WILL* be at FFW, that much is confirmed, we pick up the motor home tomorrow. We'll have a big banner up saying "Troyer Performance" on a 31 ft. motorhome in which we'll be doing custom tuning on site (and grilling burgers on the side, etc.)
So by all means, do stop by so we can say hello. We'll probably be pulling in at the same time as everyone else, when the gates open for Test & Tune at 10am on Friday.
See you there!
