Thanks for posting and so thoroughly... On the 90 Bronco 4x4 I think the CARB approved Kenne Bell kit, fuel system upgrade (injectors, pump), stroked new 351 (392)motor, built tranny will do for the light use it will get... This one I am thinking to buy a complete system, blower to headers
The 93 F-150 I am still thinking about... That one will see far more work off road... So far I am thinking Ford Motor Sport MAF conversion kit, injectors, fresh 351, TH400 built by Mike's, Dana 60... possibly NOS fogger for desert sprints with RPM and throttle switchs... This one I'll probably buy parts and build after I am sure what needs bought...

Those are the same basic questions that everyone asks when they come here. As you can imagine, they have been asked & answered literally thousands of times - it's what we call one of "the basics." So each time another new person drops by and asks the same thing, one of the basics, we let them know about the Search feature that is provided here just for that purpose - so you can instantly look up just about any kind of information.
The icon to access the Search feature is in the upper right portion of your screen here, it has excellent search filters and is easy to use. Just FYI so you'll know for future reference.

Yes, there certainly is performance tuning available for your 5.4 engine! We have specialized in F-150 performance tuning for 12 years, and can provide your 5.4 engine with the highest safe & sustainable power and performance gains - typically in excess of 30 HP on the '99-'03 2-valve 5.4 F-150's like yours.
We can do that in either a hand-held programmer or a "chip." The #9100 custom Micro Tuner allows us to deliver up to 3 different custom performance tunes set up however you want them for your specific vehicle (like multi-octane capability, towing, mpg tunes, performance tunes, etc.). The #6600 custom chip is capable of storing up to 4 different custom tunes that you can change instantly, literally by turning it's program selector dial.

You will see numerous different tuning devices there on that page - the ones you need to read up on for *your* truck would be the newer 4-bank custom products - which would be either our Part number 6600 (4-program custom chip) or Part number 9100 (3-program custom Micro Tuner). Those are the 2 multi-program 4-bank style products that allow us to deliver our in-depth custom tuning, which is how you get the best power & performance gains. For example, we could do a setup where you had a program for best possible mpg on 87 octane, then a towing-capable program for 87 octane, then another towing-capable tune for premium gas for max power when towing, and last, a premium gas maximum performance tune, for maximum power and performance gains for when you;re not going to be towing - just for one example of a 4-program custom chip configuration to give you maximum flexibility. And of course we can set the custom programs up any way you like, whatever is appropriate for your specific needs & vehicle usage requirements.
Now don't worry, you don't have to know anything about this to select your custom program configuration, as we go over all of that in detail with you when we do your custom tuning - we'll get all the info on how you use your vehicle, etc., and we'll then suggest what we feel would be the most appropriate for your needs, and explain them to you thoroughly - making your decision a very easy one.
