multi stage chip
Sorry if this has been discussed before but I just signed up...
Is there a multi stage chip available, somthing that gives you maybe the following settings:
1) Power
2) Stock
3) Economy
4) Towing (maybe thats power)
5) Valet (limits speed to like 10-15mph)
Looks like the Superchip is what everyone is using so it must be good. Finally does it void any warranties?

Welcome to F-150 Online!
First, don't worry about asking questions, that is exactly why this web site exists, for the exchange of information!
Next, the Superchip will not void your new vehicle warranty.
With regards to a multi-stage or multi-program Superchip, yes, we do have that available, it can store any 2 programs.
For one example in the F-150, what some people do is to have us make one side of it for the use of regular gas, and then in the other side, our normal performance program which requries the use of premium gasoline.
It's call the Superchip Flip Chip, just so you know, and it can store your choice of any 2 programs.
There is really nothing special to do in tuning the engine for towing performance other than to increase power as much as possible, which we do anyway. The changes we make to engine and automatic transmission functions are designed to improve performance in *every* situation, including towing, in other words.
It's probably best to just give us a call at our number below, and we can go over all the various options, and your particular situation, to see what's going to work best for you, we're happy to help.
In general, the Superchip is going to add 28 horsepower and 46 lbs./ft. of torque at the flywheel on the 5.4 engine. It will remove the top speed limiter, and will also greatly improve thd shift characteristics of the automatic transmission. It also makes many other various improvements to overall driveability and even safety, such as the removal of downshift delays, transitional spark retards, etc.
