Hi 2000RegCab54,
With racing season on us, getting custom programs done has been taking a couple of weeks, and as long as 4 weeks on some of hte very complicated and involved stuff. However, the way you have your Flip Chip configured, it will happen sooner than that, so I would expect you to see it ship in the next week or so, as programs like yours don't take too much time like the heavily involved stuff, so don't worry, it won't be too long.

2000regcab54,
I bet you can't wait! I am sure you miss how the tranny shifted with your old chip! Your 'old' chip is running like a champ! No complaints at all with the Superchip in my truck. I briefly tested the top end, or lack there of!
Felt like I was back in Germany on the Autobahn for those couple of seconds.

Hey Dustoff,
I see you mentioned something about being in Germany driving on the Autobahn. For about 13 years we were all over Europe, and I cut my teeth driving on the Autobahn as a teenager. Along with a certain other F-150 Online participant who shall remain nameless!!! Oh, what the heck, it's Tom in Tacoma, he and I had some pretty wild and fast joy-rides on the Autobahn when we were in Germany together many, many years ago, back in the late 60's...Tom, if you're lurking, I know that right about now you're grinning over a certain young lady and her fathers Caddy, for openers.
And the fact that we lived thru it, we were definitely two wild & crazy guys!!!
Spent a lot of time in what was then West Germany, that is where I learned to drive. Seeing you mention Germany and the Autobahn brought back a lot of fun, and a few scary, memories...thanks!

Mike...
I know...it sure was fun! The Autobahns are full of cameras now to take pictures of your plate when speeding (in areas not designated as unlimited speed and right around the many cities). I was all over southern and central West Germany (Stuttgart, Heidelberg,Frankfurt,Augsburg,Munich,Nurnberg) and drove up to Berlin in the former East Germany. I was stationed in Stuttgart/Ansbach from 91-94, 45th Medical Company(AA)...and I was fortunate to also see most of Germany from a helicopter. Germany will always be one of the best times of my life!!!
Tom in Tacoma...are we going to hear the rest of that story???

HI Dustoff,
You were in Stuttgart too? We were at Kelly, and at RB (Robinson barracks). I didn't think I'd *ever* see anyone else say they were in Ansbach; we were in Katterbach, right next door, which is where they had a couple of apartment buildings for dependants, and the base was at Ansbach, if I remember correctly, which is questionable. We were in Katterbach in 1962, back when the Dead Sea was just sick.
Stuttgart is where we spent a lot of time, from RB to Kelly (my favorite) to Patch, etc.
Say, since you know Stuttgart, how did you like driving "Stuttgart Hill"? They had this wonderful traffic light system in Germany (and other parts of Europe too) that when you were sitting at a red light, it would go yellow BEFORE going to green, and everybody would gun their engines like it was the Indy 500, in anticipation of the light going from yellow to green.
Especially anyone who ever took a ride up or down Stuttgart Hill in a German taxi, you know the experience!
Great memories, thanks!!

They have the same lights in England. I was stationed there for 4 years and the best thing they have to offer are Round-abouts. I don't understand why we don't have more (I have seen some in the states) in the U.S. They work really well.

HI 2000Lariat,
Yes, you don't find near as many "traffic circles" here in the US as you will over in Europe. I didn't spend much time driving in England, most of my experiences were in West Germany primarily.

Mike..
Stuttgart hill? Do you mean the long, winding S hill between 'RB' and Nelligen Barracks? If so..that was a blast! My unit, the 45th Medical Company (AA) was at Nelligen Barracks..I lived at 'RB' for 6 months..then the entire unit was relocated to Katterbach. I was at Patch and Kelly a few times. Everything was closing down in 1991/92. In Ansbach, my wife and I actually lived at Bleidorn in the Officers quarters..and I drove to Katterbach. Ansbach was a great town! We were not allowed to fly or run our helicopter engines during "quiet time"..the two hours right around lunch time (Medevac flights not included). This is basically all over Germany. I do remember the lights turning yellow then green. Just as I was leaving in 94..they were installing black signs..which allowed right turns on red at limited intersections.
I just pulled out the old photo albums of Stuttgart and Ansbach.....what a good time it was!!
I could go for some Jaegerschnitznel!!

Something told me not to open this thread and read it... But since when did I listen to anyone anyway.
Thanks Mike - I probably deserved that shot about "Whatever her name was" and her parents Caddy. Especially after I devulged about you and "Barbara Stockton"!!!!!!!
Dustoff - The story is pretty much that while her parents were on a driving vacation in the UK, she and I along with the National Distributor of Superchips would take very high-speed autobahn runs in the Caddy her folks left behind. We ran that thing to Heidelberg and then to Tubingen and everywhere inbetween. I know I saw 118mph going down the Pforzheim hill on the autobahn... (what was I thinking?) None of us had a drivers license (what was I thinking?). That Caddy didn't even have radial tires (what was I thinking?). I know what you're gonna say Mike - I *wasn't* capable of thinking!
The fun ended when she sideswiped a line of cars parked along the side of the street.
Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
Tom in Tacoma
(Gee, was it that long ago????....)
<Edited content follows>
Was thinking about that time and I keep recalling listening to The Doors "Riders of the Storm" at very loud volume. I still like that song - made quite an impression I guess....

Dustoff,
No, I mean between RB & Kelly. Had the trolly cars in the middle of the 4 lanes of cobblestone roads that the taxi drivers used to race up and down. Nothing like a taxi ride up *or* down Stuttgart Hill.
