Bosch +4 plugs and the superchip
Hi jbrac,
The Superchip really doesn't care much about what spark plug you use. We use the Bosch Platinum +4 plugs here too, and they work just fine with the Superchip.
Good luck!

I had the BOSCH +4's on my old truck w/superchip. Like Mike said, the chip didn't care which spark plugs. But, I had about 40k miles on the old plugs when I changed them out. The truck did seem to run a "bit" smoother once the BOSCH were installed. I liked them and I got a lifetime replacement warrenty w/mine. Of course after you replace your spark plugs once, you NEVER want to do it again!!
Hi jbrac,
If you are asking me will the Bosch Platinum +4 plugs make the Superchip somehow make even more power, the answer is no. The +4's are going to add a bit of power just because they are a fresh set of new plugs, and I do feel that they make a tad bit of additional power due to their design, maybe a couple of horsepower at most.
A good fresh set of plugs will always make an engine run better and make a bit more power. The Bosch Platinum +4 is the best street plug around, in my personal opinion, for most engines in these vehicles, and that is why we use them.
For example, by the time you have 30,000 miles on a set of new plugs of most types, you have already lost 6-8, and may be as much as 10 horsepower. So I'm a fan of replacing plugs about 3 times as often as the owner's manual recommends, just because I like a very sharp running motor. Sure the original plugs may fire for 100,000 miles, but you lost best power & mileage long ago. With the +4 plugs, I feel you should be able to get a good solid 50K miles of very good performance out of them. And as Tina said, the less often you have to change plugs, the better on these new vehicles!
It's not like the +4 plugs are going to make the Superchip somehow do something that no other plug can do, there is no definitive correlation other than the benefits you get from going to a better spark plug, and a fresh brand new plug.
I hope that helps your understanding a bit,
