Post Re-burn Chip?

Hi there Mike:
You seem to be the "Chip" man.
My question is can you redo the
SC I had in my 94 Mk?
Another Question, I dont even know where the computer is in my 00 L, to find the code?
I plan no more Mods than a chip, airflo, and perhaps exaust. Would it be wise to do the other mods before the chip or does this make any differnce in the programming?
Thanx and Best, PC187

Dear PC187DB,

Just so you'll know, I didn't ignore your post, I just hadn't been on since Sunday evening, so your post was put up after I left, and before I came back.

To answer your question, no, I'm afraid your existing Superchip will not be able to store the programs we make for the supercharged Lightnings, we use use the Flip Chip for the Lightnings. The Flip Chip can store any 2 programs, and that is why we use it for the Lightning, please feel free to give us a shout for all the details on that application.

We don't need your computer code on the Lightning, but only because all of the 1999 Lightnings are computer code CUX1, and all of the 2000 Lightnings so far are computer code CUX2, which is typical of Ford's SVT vehicles made in far smaller qualtities, they don't have dozens of different computer codes like all their other vehicles do.

Opening up your intake and exhaust will not cause us to have to do any custom changes on your Lightning.

Give us a shout and we'll go over all that in detail with you!
