The code is also on the computer itself. The 'puter is located above the passenger side kick panel. If I remember correctly, the code is visible from under the hood (where the computer's connecter is attached) behind and slightly below the battery on the firewall.
I'm sure Mike will be along shortly. But I recommend calling him. That way you get you chip sooner

Dear MN99F150-1,
I had a good time speaking with you today, I would have loved to have seen your Taurus SHO, that must have been some screamer! Glad to hear you're hanging onto that older straight-8 Olds as well, what a bargain you got! To be able to find an all-original "fat-fender" car like that is very rare and very lucky, to say the least.
Just so others will know, if for some reason your code sticker is missing from the passenger door frame near the door hinges, you can go to a couple other places to look..... you can look under the hood, right behind the battery on the firewall, at the wiring harness as it attaches to the front of the computer. It has a single 10mm bolt head dead-center, and sometimes they will put a white sticker on the wiring harness that has a couple lines of printing onm it, with the computer code.
Also, you can go right to the computer itself, which as 1st SUper Crew described, is on the passenger side inside the cabin, to the right of the dash and just above the passenger kick panel. The computer is held to it's mounting bracket by a black pressure clip, and you simply pull that clip straight off, and look on the back of the computer where the clip was covering up, and there is another code sticker right there. This is on all 1997 & newer F-150's.
