MIKE, Thanks for the Viagra...
...for my truck that is. Received my Superchip today and installed it in less than 1 hr!
Whoo-hoo. It's everything everybody has said on this board. Shifts are unbelievable, smooth and firm. Pickup amazing!
Mike I have the CFK3 computer. Plugged it in and it fired up right away. No jumper problem. Thanks for the heads up about the jumper, I was prepared to have it fixed but no need.
I'll keep an eye on the mileage. In reality I'm more interested in smiles per gallon than miles per gallon but if my mileage improves that will be a bonus.
How can I get a Superchip sticker?
bludog (sp?)
Thanks for making your web site available to everybody, the installation instructions are great!
My profile has been updated appropriately.

Dear Goldie,
Great post! I too, think that the "smile per gallon" is the most important factor, but a lot of people are concerned with gas mileage as well. If you happen to keep track of your mileage, you'll probably notice that you get about 1.5 to maybe as much as 2.0 more mpg, primarily on the highway, anytime you're not using heavy throttle basically. It's just a by-product of the increased spark advance used on part-throttle.
As far as getting a Superchips sticker, just give Superchips a call at the toll-free number that is on your documentation, and they'll be happy to send it right out to you. It's about 10 inches long, so it won't fit in the Superchip box unless you fold it, and they don't take to folding very well, so that is why they don't automatically include it. I did just speak to Superchips about this again today, and they have a supply of them on hand again, and I've asked them to supply us with more so we can provide them as well. Of course that won't last long, it never does.
But give them a call, and they'll get it right out to you.
Just so you know, this web site is provided by Steve Eppinger, the Webmaster, free of charge to the participants here. We kinda/sorta help via our considerable financial support of the site.
Say, how do you like your hard tonneau cover?
Have fun with your Superchip,

Mike,
The hard cover was the first thing I bought for my toy. It's a Snug Top and the color match is perfect, other members have asked me if it's a factory top. Needless to say, I love it.
Has anybody else reported a smoother/slower idle or is it my imagination? B.C.(before chip) the idle was at 700-750 now it's at a steady 600. This is not a complaint, I think it's great.
Cat back system in 1 month.
I know about Steve, thanks Steve, and his generosity with this awesome site, I even ordered 3 stickers even though I only needed 1. The web site I was refering to was bloodog.com, another member's web site. He has step by step full color pictures of not only the chip installation, but other mods as well. If you have not been there, take a cruise by and check it out.
Thanks for all your help, I try to read all of your posts, they always manage to teach/re-enforce something.

HI Goldie!
OH, I see, I thought you wre talking about *this* sight, my bad.
If that is the Chris Duke site, I have seen it, and he's done a wonderful job. I haven't been back there in well over a month I think, so I do need to drop back by, thanks for the reminder.
With regards to your comments about your idle characteristics with the Superchip, this is something that we commonly hear. There are no "tuning" changes per se below 1000 rpm, however, the way the fuel curves are reprogrammed for premium gas seems to smooth out the idle a bit as well, and this has been commented on by numerous people here from time to time, so I'm glad to hear you're noticing this too.
Thanks for your feedback on that hard cover!
