Hi Mumbly!!

Well, as we discussed on the phone, there is hope in sight for your custom program and finding the source of the conflict that is generating the "artificial" TS limiter.

I had a long discussion with Jay about your situation again, and made him aware of the shorter tires that is part of your Roush pagkage, and he agrees that this could be the real culprit. We won't know for sure until you get the new program, but at least we now have an idea of what to look for. What really surprised me is that nobody ever mentioned this before, so if this works, it will be just a stroke of luck that I thought to go back over this again, to look at every aspect of your vehicle configuration. Getting those measurments to me with regards to your installed tire height and circumference was very helpful, and was the final factor in determining whether or not this *could* be the cause. Whether you get thw 16" or 17" wheels & tires from the factory, the installed tire height is in the 29.5 - 30.0 inch range, and with your setup being 28.46 inches, and the speedo being 10% off, that is easily enough difference to cause what you have been experiencing. This is also enough to cause the symptom you described where you bounce off teh rev lmiter on the WOT upshifts due to how fast your supercharged engine is now gaining rpms, so that too is going to be adjusted to compensate.

Maybe we'll be able to get a good laugh out of all of this when it's all said and done.

I *knew* there had to be a conflict somewhere causing this, as your YBQ2 code (and the YBQ3's too) have had the top speed limiter removed for a long time now, and this could certainly be it, so I've got everything crossed.

Call me when you get another chance and we'll talk about your banner!
