superchip problem
I am having a problem with my superchip and was hoping someone may have some info for me.
When I hold throttle wide open through the 1-2 upshift everything is great, but if I stay in it through the 2-3 upshift, it will not stay in third gear, it will go into third then downshift to second then back to third then back.........It will not hold third at WOT. If I let off it will shift into third, but if I go back to WOT it will downshift to second and start the upshift, downshift sequence all over again until it just hangs in second gear at about 5200 rpm. Any Ideas?

Hi Jarrett,
When did this start happening? Occasionally installing 4.10 gears can cause an adjustment of this type to be needed to your Superchip program. It's not often, but sometimes it will need to be done. Once in awhile we'll see that going to 4.10 gears will cause the engine to gain rpm's in first gear so quickly that the transmission cannot execute the upshift before hitting the rev limiter, for example, that's another type of adjustment that is sometimes needed. It's usually a very easy fix, if that is the problem. I'd suggest giving me a call, so we can discuss exactly what you're experiencing, as sometimes shift solenoids can be the culprit as well. We can usually determine that pretty quickly, so just give us a shout, ok? If we need to make an adjustment to your program, that's very easily done.
