Post Superchips Inc. doing fine, ADS went out of business!

To All:

Many people have by now seen notices that ADS has gone out of business. During their existence, they caused confusion making people think that they were Superchips, by naming their product the exact same thing, and by selecting a web site URL as close as possible to the *real* Superchips Inc. ADS web site was at www.superchip.com, (may be still up I haven't checked) and the *real* Superchips Inc. has their web site located at www.superchips.com. The only difference was the "s" on the end of the word Superchip. A good number of people over the years were taken in by this ploy.

For years we have had to tell people who thought they were buying a real Superchip that what they got was from ADS, and *not* from Superchips Inc. I am very happy that this will no longer be the case in the future, and that they will not be fooling anyone anymore. However, we are very sorry for all their employees, of course, as I hate to see anyone lose their job.

I just wanted to post this in order to help stop all the separate new threads asking if Superchips is dead.

Superchips Inc., the inventor of the power chip and today the world's largest chipmaker, is alive and well.

Our bests to all,

You guys crack me up continuously jabbing at each other. One of these days Fast, Dustoff, & whoever are actually going to meet on the street and put it to the test. Like maybe at the Norfolk Rally this summer?

I didn't know that the word fast could be used in the same sentence as 4.6 Triton. They are like night and day.

Yes Mike, 8.2 seconds is pretty good. I time it the same way I did my 97', same model. My 97' was running consistent 9.6-9.8's.

You added a K&N airfilter and get 8.2 seconds. Whoopee! Where is your hometown? I've never heard of that place before. Must be in the great state of Denial!!

Allright I'm sorry. I'll play nice. How come no chip? Do you think they are over rated or just don't want to burn premium. I'll respect your answer.
