Thumbs up thanks mike

ordered my chip on monday 3/27 and received it on 3/29,great service. I installed it on saturday and installation was a breeze. Note to anyone installing their chip and having a hard time getting access to the wiring harness bolt,I removed the battery then the four bolts holding the battery tray then just moved the tray out of the way. Truck runs great now.

Dear 94fan,

You're very welcome!

There are a few of these trucks that will have a pair of solenoids mounted on the firewall and block access to the wiring harness, and in those cases you do need to remove the battery. The vast majority, as in well over 99.5% of the 1997 & up F-150's, you don't need to actually remove the battery, but there is that last .5% that you do have to, so you must be one of them.

I'm glad you're enjoying your Superchip, have fun!
