My computer had a little black door on the side of it (where the chip plugs in) there was a white bar code on the black cover that also had the computer code printed on it. You can remove this black cover without removing the computer, you may be able to read it in place. Some computers have a little metal cover instead of the black plastic one, you may have to move the plastic hold down clip to read the code while it's installed

Dear Moose-man,

OK, if your door frame code sticker is gone, then you can go to the computer itself. Go into the cabin on the passenger side, and the computer will be located just above the passenger's kick panel. The computer is held to it's mounting bracket by a black clip that slides off. Simply pull that clip off, and then look on the back of the computer whee the black clip was covering, and there will be another code sticker right there. Your computer code will be 3 letters and a number. Just so you know, the information from the Calibration sticker that is on the back of the driver's door won't help, that is not what we're looking for.

Just to give you an idea of where the computer is mounted vertically, if you go under the hood, look right behind your battery, on the firewall, and you'll see the wiring harness "hub", where it connects to the front of the computer. That will give you an idea of where it is located vertically inside the cabin, ok?

If you have any more trouble finding your computer code, please feel free to give us a call and we'll be happy to go over all the various locations for code stickers on your vehicle, and any other questions you may have.

Good luck!

Like Mike said...in preparation to install my chip tomorrow..I noticed my computer code was stamped near the wiring harness "hub" under the hood.
