Wink Thanks Mike, you're the best!

Hey Mike,
I wanted to show my appreciation for all your help! You're response to my e-mails and hands on involvement to us all here on F-150 Online has been phenomenal! I installed my Superchip this past weekend and it's GREAT! Just wanted to say thanks and I'll let you know about the mileage soon. Wishing you the best!

Thumbs up

You will like the passing ability now none of that punch it and wait for it to down shift, the chip really makes a huge difference, it will take second gear to about 80 mph before shifting, i got on it the other day and it chirpped the tires on the 1-2 shift, i was like hey i did that grinning ear to ear. My milage went up as well i am very happy with the chip. It is one thing that i have bought that actualy did what it claimed, a comforting thought in todays world where you can get screwed the first time you turn your back. ( ie my good year at/s going out of round with 4000 miles.

good luck try not to get too many tickets, or maybe Mike will pay for them for you ??? now that's a good idea.

Dear Lariat Ryder,

What a nice post, thanks! And sure, we'd love to hear your gas mileage results too, when you have that data. One thing to caution you on, though you probably already know this, is that the first tank and soemtimes more right after you install the Superchip, your mileage may in fact go down due to using more throttle checking out the vehicle's new capabilities, that's perfectly normal. But once the novelty wears off, you should be able to see a little bit better gas mileage when not using a lot of heavy throttle. On average, what's been reported back here has been about 1.5 - 2.0 more mpg, primarily when cruising on the highway. Steve G got fantastic results, getting 2.75 more mpg on his recent trip with his Superchip, but of course he was very careful and held back from playing with other vehicles on the road, and stayed on cruise control @ 75 mph. That helped his results quite a bit, and it shows in his higher mpg gain.

Have fun,
