Cool super chip comes with a big heavy shoe

My chip arrived last week from mike and thanks to all the information from this site it was in in less than an hour. The problem occurred when I filled up my tank (Which seems to be bottomless) - I only get 9.5 mpg. Now I can't keep that big heavy shoe that you sent with it from stomping on the gas at every light.Any suggestions anyone? And pulling the chip is not an option and you can't have the shoe back!

LOL Great product.

here's an idea to try - tie a bunch'a helium ballons to the shoe laces. It works for me.

Dear 4X4Yankee,

Thanks for the great laughs! You're right, it is *very* tempting when you first install the Superchip to go out and romp down on it to check out and enjoy the new power & improved shifting etc. For some it only lasts until you fill up the *second* time, and see what happened to your gas mileage when you used a lot of heavy throttle! And for others, it takes at least a month for the novelty to wear off and start driving like they used to, so you can get a good feel for your before & after gas mileage.

Once you get used to it, if you do happen to track your gas mileage, we'd love to hear your results. You should be able to see at least some small improvement when cruising on the highway, hopefully.

Have fun, & thanks again for a very funny post, we can use the laughs around here!
