That's some pretty impressive perfmance from both your trucks. Rumors from the motorcyle front are that the new Kawasaki 1200 does a sub 10 second quarter at over 140 and will top out at over 200 mph! The bike has one mission - to unseat the Suzuiki Hayabasa 1300 as the fastest bike ever made. The Suzuki does low 10's and has a top speed of 190+ according to multiple magazine tests. That is nearly as crazy as going 150 in an F150!

I love to see people talking good about the 351W. I had a mildly built one in my '67 fastback for a while and it was a great street engine. BTW, the 289 has a 2.87" stroke.

HI!... DIRT BIKE DAVE : I don't know if you did a "typo" or not but the 289 has a 2.870 stroke. If you are mentioning this because of the thread under the "ENGINES" topic, I was comparing "MAIN JOURNAL DIAMETERS" not strokes. By the way I take it from your name that you like MOTOCROSS. I raced for 4 years and still have my race bike. YZ 125 with about $8000(CAN) invested in it. Stock h.p was 24h.p, now it puts out 33.5. And yes guys Neal (the h.p freak) had his motocross bike dynoed! It's good to meet a fellow motocrosser. By the way if you are wondering why I use the word "MOTOCROSS BIKE" instead of "DIRTBIKE" that is because I personally beleive that a dirtbike is a bike that kids beat the crap out of on a farm and never take care of it.(maintenence) I personally tore my bike down every weekend after racing right down to the frame. Thats including rebiulding and regreasing every individual needle bearing in the entire bike. To this day the bike still looks like it just came off of the showroom floor.
