Cableguy - 14.9 @ 90 is pretty good for a 5.4L Supercab!! That is the best that I have ever seen! How did you do it?

Neal what 1/4 mile times did you get before the mods?
We had basically the same truck before you put the mods on yours.

Cableguy,

I must say, nice time! You should be easily into the 13's with a supercharger.

HI!... 54REGCAB : I don't really know what my truck ran before the mods because I never ran it at the track stock.

HI!... 54REGCAB : I can't remember if HOTROD6 is the guy or not but there is a guy here on the board that has 4.30 gears in his v-6 F-150.

fast I would LOVE nothing more than to get supercharged...oh how awesome that would be....I'm going to have to work on that. Save, work hard and then the biggest hurdle, convince the wife WHY the truck really NEEDS it...ya know what I mean.have done a good job so far...besides she is getting to really like the looks she gets.

Thanks all...as my signature shows thats all I've done. I did run with 104 octane gas, that helped a LITTLE. And then someone here at a shop on Monday told me that the altitude here in albuquerque (5,290') will make a difference. He said his buddy with a built mustang lost just about a second when he came here and raced. But...those days are retired for "Big Red", show time now.

Dear Cableguy,

Nice to "see" you again! Hope your move went OK, it's always a PITA!

Sounds like you're already catching some action there. You're gonna surprise some people with that 14-second pick-up truck!

Have fun,

fast46triton - I am fully capable of speaking for myself! When I need your help, I'll let you know. If you have the time to answer questions addressed to others, you are in great need of a life! Things must not be too busy at school if you have time to make such inane posts to this board! I have a simple philosophy to life, if you don't have first hand experience on something, keep your mouth shut!
