superchip and b&M shift improver
hello f150 online,
my first posting with f150 online. great site-- gonna cost me some money though:-) didn't know there was such a following for the ol' f150. anyway, i am planning on purchasing a superchip, and was wondering if my already installed b&m shift improver would cause any problems, I would guess that is would. also, what is the waiting time to get a chip. thanks

Dear Doug,
Welcome to F150online! There are a number of guys here using both the B&M unit and the Superchip, and we also have some guys here using a Transgo shift kit and the Superchip, as I am doing myself in my vehicle. This works very well together, you may notice that you run the B&M unit one setting lower, for example, that is up to you. But to answer your question, they work well together, so don't worry about not being able to use our B&M unit with the Superchip.
The Superchip is readily available, right off the shelf, or close to it.
We will need your vehicle's computer code, which you can find in the passenger door frame near the door hinges. It will be on a sticker, it's going to be 3 letters and a number. With that information, we can get your new Superchip on it's way to you immediately! We also have a special F150online discount for F150online members. Our contact info is below, anytime you would like to place your order.
I don't know how far you want to take your truck, we are highly specialized and only carry programming products, but there are other things you can do in addition to the Superchip, things that work well with it. The Airaid kit, which eliminates the factory airbox, is available at a great price right here in the F150online store, as are headers and other things. Doing the Superchip, a cat-back exhaust, and the Airaid unit all together will add about a 50 hp gain, for a total cost of around $700 or so. The nice thing about all this is, you can do them in any order, one thing at a time. That way, you know what each change has done for you, and whether you have enough performance to satisfy your needs.
Good luck with your truck,
------------------
