How to Order your Superchip
To ALL:
It's been awhile, long enough for the older "How To Order..." post to have scrolled off the message boards, so here is the procedure to order your new Superchip, and get the special F150online discount that we offer.
For all 1997 & later F-150's & light duty F-250's, locate your truck's unique computer code by opening the passenger door, and look in the front of the door frame, just below the door hinges. There will be a sticker with 3 letters and a number, and that is the code we will need, as we program each vehicle individually. Once you have your code, simply contact us via email or phone, whichever you prefer.
For all 1997 & later Super Duty trucks, whether gasoline or Powerstroke diesel equipped, your computer code will be in the Driver's side door frame, just below the door hinges, and those codes will also be 3 letters and a number.
For the 1996 & earlier trucks, the computer is located in the driver's side kick panel on most, and the code will be on a sticker on top of the computer itself. Sometimes you can also get lucky, and find a code sticker on the wiring harness under the hood, as it leads into the computer. It will usually be 3 letters and a number, but sometimes can be only 2 letters, or 2 letters and a number, such as DJ, or U2D.
No Ford computer code, for any computer controlled vehicle up to the 1999 model year, will ever be longer than 4 digits. Sometimes, people will call with part numbers instead of computer codes, so anytime you see the letter "F", followed by a number, like F3, F4, F5, etc., that is usually the Ford part number for whatever you're looking at, and not the computer code. Remember, no code is longer than 4 digits!
Anyone who is registered to post on the message boards is eligible for our special F150online discount. Also, you can get this discount on *any* vehicle that Superchips makes a product for, so whether you drive a Ford F-150, or a Lincoln, a Camaro, etc. you can still get our F150online discount, as long as you are registered for the message boards!
Just email or call, our contact info is below. We are happy to answer any and all questions you may have regarding the product. Our hours are Monday thru Friday, 10 am to 7 pm, and we usually takes calls until 8pm and sometimes even later, most evenings, to accomodate our late-working and West Coast customers.
Our best wishes to all,
