does an air force one void warranty?
Hi mattdaly2,
No, you do NOT void your warranty by installing an intake kit like that.
The only thing you need to be aware of is that *some* aftermarket gauze & oil style filters, if they are *over-oiled*, can allow some of that oil to migrate onto the sensor in the MAF meter, which can cause a rough idle or other driveability symptoms. Now the S&B air filters that Air Force One uses do not do that, but this is just something you want to know in general about gauze & oil style filters, for when you go to clean & re-oil them. Our cleaning kits for those filters have all of those specific instructions in them, so this is very easy to avoid.
