maybe since this involves Mikes Business, time and product he sales or has sold, he should make any further comments on any problems with the sct product.

HI!... BROTHERDAVE : I see your up to your old ***** disturbing hobbies again. 1st off I get info on such things you could only wish to know. Stuff that the public doesn't have access to. I won't go into detail here because it's not my place. If MIKE decides to chime in and discuss it he will. If he doesn't then that's up to him. I know what I know on the subject and you obviously don't know as much as you think you do on it so how about you just leave and go do your hobbie somewhere else. The SUPERCHARGER FORUM perhaps?

who is "were" because i think all posting in this thread disagree with you ,but tell me what you are talking about.

this thread was about a guy setting up a dyno day, you brought mike into it and you are the one that brought up problems with sct. all i said was that you shouldnt post things about mikes product that he hasent addressed. did he tell you to make the claim of flaws in sct, but dont tell specific details, have people call me if they want to know.

i have heard nothing but good things about the product, nothing but good about MIke and obviously Jerry know his stuff.

The way I see it is Mike is a great tuner who uses the newly introduced SCT hardware/software to now do his tuning and Jerry is the man who co-devoloped SCT. Like I said Mike is great but Jerry is obviously higher in tuning ability with over 5,000 dyno tuning files that all take part in the SCT database. I hope Mike doesn't take offense by me saying that but the point I'm trying to make is Mike realizes the SCT is a great product and thats why he chose to use it. If there were major problems with it I'm sure Mike wouldn't use it by no means.

To me Neal knocks the company that makes honey wheat bread but swears by the guy who sells that bread. Kinda an oxymoron wouldn't you say so?

 

HI!... See if you guys actually knew what was going on with what I mentioned you would feel really stupid. I had a long talk with MIKE today over the phone, and out of respect for Mike as my tuner and as a very good personal friend, I will comment on this no more. There is certain info that is not to be released, and I have no problem with that. So you guys keep thinking you KNOW whats really going on as your not even close. Bye now, have fun.

 

I was wondering where you get work done on your truck? Did you do installs by yourself? I am in west TN now, but will be in East TN for the month of April. I am looking for someone to help me with my 2002 supercrew. I would like to do some upgrading before I get a custom chip.

HaHaHa Neal is funny.... he has a secret but cant tell...something about tuner problems and Mike is the best and I got confused by all this in a thread about a tune setup. Why dont you just tell people what the deal is with these chips? Is it such a big deal? Are the SCT people going to hunt you down? Seems that this forum is for people that want help and help others. If there is a problem with these chips or programmers, why not help us out and explain the issues?

You jumped into a forum about setting up a tune to inform us all you will stay with Mike. Do you do this kind of thing often?

 

HI!... I would but was asked not to. Wow you got a big mouth for someone with 7 posts, by troll. If you would do a search, you will see I help more people out on this site than almost anyone else. There are a few bad apples on here and they show their faces when it meets their agenda. I'm just getting sick of people talking about stuff they have no clue about and just jump into a post because they see someone that they don't like. To cause trouble. You know who you are. I was asked to no longer talk about the small problems concerning the SCT tuning software, and I won't. I have no problem with my SCT chip. It's a great product. Mike does a wonderful job tuning my truck with it. I've been waiting for 5 years for SC to come out with a 4-program chip. Now I finally got one.

 

I had to do some searching for your definition of a troll:

If you notice I posted first to be able to find information out from collins. I didnt post to cause trouble.

I then went on to comment on your insider information. I just was hoping you would help those of us without a chip and direct help from Mike not by a product that is seriously flawed or waste money on a custom tune if it is not going to be worth it. I am new on this forum and new to the idea of adding performance to my truck, and I just want to make infromed purchases.

I didn't say anything bad about you, just wanted to know why you wouldnt help or give any guidance on the choices that should be made about chips. Why do you start name calling?

all i tried to do was tell you that it is not in mikes or sct best interest for you to post stuff.

gave you every opertunity to back out of it, but you upped the bar with every exchange.
go back and re-read it and find me one place were i slam mike or sct. i give both nothing but praise.

Neal has turned this thread into internet posturing to shed himself in one light or another.

Being that he doesn't even have the SCT software nor have any real inside scoop he isn't really qualified to speak about it.

I on the other hand would actually know because I use the SCT software daily, for both my business and my position at SCT. There are the small quarks associated with a massive undertaking but nothing major like neal is trying to lead you to believe.

 

HI!... JUSTIN : Don't play in here, I know that you are directly involved with the SCT program. I never said there were *HUGE* problems with the SCT hardware. There are small quirks as you call them.

BROTHERDAVE : Did I mention you by name anywhere? NO!

I'm now done with this thread. But I'll keep reading it because I and others are getting a great laugh out of it.
