Thanks for the outstanding replies that are posted on this board. I have learned alot from reading all the posts. Special thanks to Mike, great conversation on the phone. Told me everything I needed to make an INFORMED decision.

Initially tried to order from a different company (Diablo), they could not remove any limiters. Also were not able to provide what was asked....PERIOD. Instead got duped into ordering a 1715. It did make a huge differance, but like the rest of the posts I see here---I WANT MORE!!
Ordered the SC 9100 custom tuner and can't wait for it to get here.
The 1715 in tow mode has given GREAT performance, you could feel the differance (seat of pants) in the 91 octane tow mode. Have not put 91 performance mode in yet, will 2marrow. My mileage is up by 1.5-2mpg. Passing even while towing seems effortless and it does not hunt in overdrive as bad. QUICK downshifts when I step down, GOOOOD excelleration.
When the 9100 shows up I'm going to dyno the truck and will post results for all to see. stock-91-93. Will have a 1715 with 91 program to sell soon---HURRY MIKE

Your order will be coming up soon, there are 3 other custom tunes ahead of yours (each custom tune is done in the order they are placed, so there are no "favorites," etc., everyone gets the same consideration) & then yours gets done! So you should actually have it in your hands by no later than this same time next week, if not sooner - I'm hoping to have it done by Tuesday or Wednesday, and then it's just 1 or 2 days shipping time to you & you'll have it!
You;re right, the 1715 of course works very well - lots of people are using it and love it. For those who want the *most*, that's where the in-depth custom tuning comes in - even for a bone-stock truck.
It won't be long & you'll be enjoying the results - and before you go to the dyno, let's talk as there are some maintenance issues we'll want to discuss as well as some other data you'll want to have datalogged when you're on the dyno, in addition to just the power & A/F ratios, etc.
