HI!... Just do what I did last weekend. I had to replace my stock alternator due to truck stalling while trying to run both my DERALE electric fans at the same time. I got a new alternator and a 1/8" smaller alternator pulley for $125(CAN). The guy told me I could have pully for like $6(CAN) if I just needed that.

Hi RF-1,

I don't do email personally any more and haven't for years now - our staff handles that. It usually takes them anywhere from one to a few days to respond to emails, depending on our email load - which, as you can imagine, is usually extremely heavy.

We don't stock alternator overdrive pulleys or even sell them - that isn't' what we do. Our pulleys are all *performance* applications that we have specially made to our specs. So speeding up an alternator and making less power to the wheels isn't something we do, but thanks very much for thinking of us, that's very considerate of you!

If you can find a $6 pulley, or a $20 pulley, etc., like Neal is talking about to do the job, then I'd say go for it - maybe Neal will help you out on that.

Good luck!
