Gtullous,

Which exhaust do think you'll go with? I assume it'll be one of the 2 Magnaflows available from Troyer for the '04, but which one?
I'm ready to get one of the Magnaflows, too. I just have to explain to my wife that it's the perfect gift for my birthday.

Then I'll want to follow up with the programmer for the '04 when it's available.

Im thinking of doing the magnaflow SI/DO catback system...I think it was like 465.00 shipped and its an all stainless system...The hard part like i say will be getting the wife to go for it...She just now is getting over the 1500.00 topper that the dog just had to have so he could ride in the back....Mike also said the programers should be out around June or July so that gives me a couple months to work on that....

Hi fellas,

Nice to see more 2004 F-150 owners dropping by!

One of the nice things with this new redesign of the 2004 F-150 that did not happen with the last major redesign (for the 1997 models) is the number of good quality performance parts that we've been able to make available very quickly.

Back when the 1997 models first came out, it was months before we could tune them, and it took what seemed like forever to get a significant number of other performance parts engineered & available that were actually worth doing.

With this latest redesign of the F-150, even though once again it's basically a new vehicle, this time we're improving numerous aspects of the 2004's performance much quicker than what we were able to do immediately for the 1997's.

Right now we're already able to make significant improvements in these trucks, with tuning, intake, exhaust, pulleys, ignition mods, etc., so 2004 owners don't have to wait months (or years) to be able to make significant improvements in the performance of their vehicles. The 2 Magnaflow cat-back exhausts are a good example, where we've been able to get Magnaflow to see the value of the 2004 F-150 and they have responded very quickly to this vehicle - and there are a number of other similar examples, so things are looking *very* good for 2004 F-150 owners that want to improve their performance.

Thanks for dropping by, & good luck with your 2004 F-150's!
