Mike T. - SuperchipsCustom ?
Mike,
Do you have any information or opinion on the new SuperchipsCustom programmer that was released about a month ago. www.superchipscustom.com. It allows you to get further into the EEC programming and may be a better option for us with superchargers or nitrus.

Hi kpaton,
Well, kinda/sorta - there's a lot all over the Internet about this right now, some of it accurate, some of it not - but yes, we are aware of the basics of course.
I can only tell you what's what as of a few days ago when I last spoke with Chris Johnson.............. As of a few days ago, nothing was actually shipping out to dealers yet. Some of their close friends & a few of the gang at Superchips have seen some of the new stuff & have been playing with it & talking about it on the Internet, but it's not actually shipping to SCT dealers yet. That is all being worked out & set up as we speak, is my understanding.
The new products (and this is all related strictly to *custom* tuning, no changes in any of the rest of the Superchips lineup) won't be available to actually start shipping to SCT dealers until roughly about the 15th (of Oct.) , is what I discussed a few days ago with Chris. There is also a new 4-bank chip, too.
The Micro Tuner has always had the potential to be able to address 4 banks - it's just not been used before in custom tuning applications in Fords. Micro Tuners for custom tuning have been available for years for the 1996 & newer GM applications, for example.
I'll be down at Superchips again next week going over the new hardware, software, etc. & we'll see just what's actually shipping at that point.
But the bottom line is yes, there will be an individual vehicle-specific version of Micro Tuner available thru SCT dealers (only) for custom tuning Ford applications - it will NOT be available thru the normal Superchips chain of distribution, this is something that is strictly controlled - only those of us who will have the tools & knowledge to do the actual tuning in-house will be able to offer these new Superchips Custom Tuning applications.
You might want to give me a call to go over some of the details when you get a chance - it's far too much to get into here of course.
Talk to you soon & good seeing you again!

I appreciate the time Mike, keep us posted on any inside information you may come across. When this hits the streets I may be giving you a call. I am still running untuned with the ATI.
