Maybe, .... but you're an a-hole.

I've been driving Ford trucks all my life but I'm new to these truck forums. After buying a new '04 Superduty I'm considering chips, intakes, exhausts and have been studying up on ALL the various forums, not just this one.

The more I see of attitudes like yours, the more I'm leaning toward dealing with Troyer.

Lock it up.......This is getting stupid....It's heading down the tuner bashing road.....Mike most likely won't respond to this anymore, what's the point.....This guy want's to start trouble...If he has something to prove he can post his own thread on his useless information...Mike is well respected here...If anyone has a problem with him they haven't called him directly,to get things staightend out....Which has been done over and over...99.9% of the time it seems to be end user mis-information !

kdanner,

Inlighten me. How come Mike Troyer will never be able to get this product but I can?

ROUSHFAN-1,

Keep this one open. For once I would like to see one of these types crawl out of the hole he has dug. He still has not answered the question.

Well, we are asking that you please set us straight. You counter what someone else says about a new product, but then don't give anything to support your claims. This not only effects your credibility, but also that of your friends, whom are finding humor in this discussion. The thing that I find funny is that you come here and claim to have information that, another long time, respected member could not. Ok then. But why?

And finally, no you won't be using this as soon as it is available, or at any other time for that matter. The SCT products will not be made available to you.

I'm confussed

I've got a new '04 f150 and really proud of it. I'm reading along here trying to make some sense of the information about new products for performance upgrades.

I've never had one of these vehicles that has a programmable system and do not even understand the basics of what it takes to get my new truck to perform better.

All I want is to be able to do is change tire size, improve the shift points and a little power improvement. Isn't that what these products are suppose to do?

All of a sudden I'm reading along and it begins to sound like a pissing contest about who knows the most about something that is not helping me get a product that will allow me to help my new truck perform better.

Would someone please explain how these computer upgrade systems work for an '04 F150 4.6? Or, tell me where to find the information.

Is the '04 products going to be different than previous year products and how many name brand product are going to be available.

In addition to being America's oldest Superchips distributor, we are now also the very first general release Superchips Custom Tuning dealer, so I've come down to work with Jerry (one of the demi-gods of Ford EFI tuning), David & Chris on the new software, etc.

Yep. I agree. Every time some immature, pissed off introvert who can only express himself while anonymously pecking on a keyboard attacks Mike and calls into question the factuality of his statements, Mike is put right into his place.

That place being one of professionalism, reservation and maturity.

I have never seen Mike "go off" on anyone....even when they deserved it. (This post is a prime example. Mike had every right to fire right back at kdanner, but he handled it better than most ppl would) Every time some jerk-off who knows someone who knows someone else who is in the tuner business contradicts a statement Mike has made, it only serves to raise Mike's reputation simply because of the way he handles these ppl who seem to thrive on turmoil and dissention.

Now it's time to "show your cards" kdanner. You have not backed up any of the things you have stated. If you want to discredit a long-time member who has been nothing but an asset to many of us here, give us some proof. Back it up and we will listen. Spout off and you will just be ignored.

Oh yeah, peace all!

I agree with rebel too. I have talked to Mike just once I don't know him personally, he seemed very passionate about his work. Of course people will have there differences no matter what line of work they do, it' how you handle those differences that's the key. Mike has handled this in a very professional manner.

Hi fellas,

I sincerely thank you all for your support, that's very kind of you and it's greatly appreciated - but I don't want to be the source of strife here, even if it is indirectly and/or only from the standpoint of people feeling they need to splay my attacker, so to speak - strife is strife, and I really would be happiest just seeing everyone behaving & enjoying F-150 Online as Steve Eppinger has worked so very hard to make happen for years - let's show *that* our respect, too.

So if I may be allowed to ask a favor of everyone, I would ask that let's all let our tempers calm back down, stop goading kdanner and just let bygones be bygones.

Then we can get back to having a pleasant section of the message boards where we all get along, appreciate each other and do what this site is *really* all about - the exchange of relevant information about the vehicles we own, drive, break our backs working to pay for, spend so much money on mods for, obsess over, argue with the wife/girlfriend about, etc. - those things just about all of us have in common.

Peace,

And finally, no you won't be using this as soon as it is available, or at any other time for that matter. The SCT products will not be made available to you. Your comments about knowing far more about this, et al are bogus. I know it, you know it, the principals involved in this project know it.

The people who made this happen also certainly are not personal friends of yours.

You can reply to this and deny it all you want, or even go try and get this deleted and/or get me banned from here, but this IS the truth, like it or not.
Well, I have to ask Kdanner - How is it you can make such definitive statements ?

Are you involved in the product some how ??

Doug
