Computer code- sticker is worn...

2001 F150 extended cab, 4x4, 5.4. The sticker is falling apart, but I can tell the last three digits are UB1. The first digit looks like an S, but also could be a 5 or a 9.

Any insight?
Thanks, Rob

after a bit more use of the search function, I think it probably reads SVB1. Is there a way to look someplace else to be sure?

Hi Rob,

You're right, it's SVB1, those "V's" can look like a "U" many times, pretty common. SVB1 & SVB2 are common codes for 2001 5.4 V8 automatic F-150's, so you've done your search review homework well, looks like.

You can double-check that by going to the PCM, which is mounted just above the passenger's kick panel. It's a small rectangular aluminum box, 1.5" wide by 6" tall by 9" long, the way it's mounted in these trucks. There will be a small black plastic "pressure clip" that holds the PCM against it's mounting bracket; pull that clip straight back (towards the back of the vehicle) and it will come right off. Then look on the back of the PCM where the clip was covering up, and you should see another code sticker there, a small one, that will say SVB1 on it.

If you have any problems, give us a call & we can help.
