Troyer Stage 4 kit
I've got most of "stage 4" on my '98 -- no throttle body or hurst shifter or magnaflow, but I've got the Borla and msd coil packs as the '98 as that year did not have cop ignition.
Honestly.....................
I'm smiling ear to ear.
If I keep my foor out of it, then I get consistant 18 mpg. I can chirp tires all day long in 1st and 2cnd. I've also got new sway bars front and rear and Edlebrock IAS shocks. I literally hated the handle of that truck before the suspension upgrade. Now I can't say it corners like a Lightning, since I've never followed one into a tight corner. I have very good footing for a stock height truck.
You have no idea what kind of difference those fuel pump, 24# injectors, and performance mass air meter makes. I mean very little change in first and second gear, but give it full throttle while going 60 in third and then hard into fourth. The accleration enhancement from 60 to 100 is VERY noticeable. Mike told me that my truck was "running out of gas in third and fourth". Now that I have that fuel upgrade I know he wasn't lying. Unfortunately I didn't dyno during my 18 month upgrade process, so I can't give you hard numbers. However, now I may just for my own personal information.
Bottom line was it worth it.....................I am happy.
Just for your info, without the big horses behind a supercharger you aren't going to light up and roast your tires by getting into the throttle at say 60 mph.
Since I don't know what you've got, I can't really be more specific. If you've got any questions, fire away.

Thanks, I have a 2000 F-150 Supercab 5.4 auto. I will have 3:73 LS gears in it soon, have had the 3:73 LS for over a year now..just to lazy to take it down for the install.
At the end of next month I hope to have enough money saved up from my O/T to buy the whole package even though I already have catback(flowmaster)Di/Do exhaust, Airforce 1 & a Superchip. I'll Probably sell the Airforce one(used) & the Superchip(used).
My Truck is lowered 2/4 with Sway bars all the way around, it corners pretty good for a 5000lb truck.
Thanks for the help.

Hi Rick,
Our Stage 4 kits work *very* well, it's an excellent package for those who want to stay normally aspirated and who do not want to mess with ported cylinder heads, etc. It's designed to be all external bolt-ons, and function as a complete package.
One thing I did want to comment on is that if you already have certain aspects of our Stage 4 kit, we can always work with you to come up with a package that adds to what you *already* have, to bring it up to the level of our Stage 4 kit.
For example, while I would not stick with that Flowmaster exhaust due to the lower power gains and the actual loss of torque below about 3000 rpm, if you already have the Air Force One intake system, that is the intake kit we use in our Stage 1 thru Stage 4 kits so there's not much in buying another one. We can easily take that out of the package to save you some cost there.
Feel free to give us a call to go over exactly what you have done to your vehicle & we can lay out exactly what it needs to get to Stage 4 for you.
Good luck & don't kill yourself working all that O/T!

I would think that the 'stage 4' kit would give you better results than it did for me, since I only have the 4.6. If I were to buy over again, I would for sure consider the 5.4. Don't get rid of that AF1 intake. I removed my K&N el cheapo plastic and got a proper one (AF1) here recently. IT's pretty frightening to think that a new racing mass air meter is hanging on the end of that cheap plastic K&N. Of course the AF1 really shines up nice too.
Since I added all my upgrades one peice at a time, I didn't get that really big bang by going from stock to big time modded all at once. Talk to Mike about your big plan before you spend your $$$ though. Basically I didn't know jack before I got started. In fact I bought that K&N and Borla before I even knew there was an F150 online. I'm not unhappy with the Borla, but now I kind of wish I had the Magnaflow with the stock exit pipe. Then I would really be a sleeper. I think those Borla Dual pipes start potential victims to thinking -- hate that...
