Superchip problem

What Phil (openclasspro) was talking about was having us do our in-depth custom tuning for your 4.2 V6 in our custom Micro Tuner. That gives you 3 different tunes setup any way you want (such as multi-octane capability, etc.).
That is what Phil had us do for his truck, after he had already tried the "standard" Superchips tuning and Diablo's tuning, too - our custom tuning gave him much better performance than anything else.
Take a look at the link just below this paragraph, & when you get there, you'll want to read up on our Part#'s 5500, 6600 & 9100 specifically - those are the 3 different products I recommend you choose from for your truck. These are the products we do our in-depth custom tuning in to get you the most power & performance gain - and it doesn't matter if you have a race truck or a bone stock vehicle that is never going to be raced, etc. - more power & better performance is always needed in these trucks no matter how you use them - daily driver, towing, "performance" applications, etc - don't think you have to race it to benefit from our custom tuning. Most of our customers are the more typical daily driver/occasional tow vehicle, in reality - only a few, maybe 15%-20% or so, are actually racing.

What most people are having us do these days is a custom Micro Tuner (our Part# 9100), as that gives you a simple plug-n-play 10 minute installation, multiple tunes so you can have the best performance on whatever level of octane gas you want to use, and it's got the built in OBD-II code scanner, etc. We can set up the 3 different custom tunes any way the customer prefers for their individual vehicle usage & needs, etc.
So yes, we can easily provide you with a very nice performance tune for that truck, in either a "chip" or the hand-held flash device that Phil was talking about in his response to you. The 4.2 V6 owners love our tuning, as not only do we get nice peak HP gains, better acceleration, etc., but we also cure the 4.2 V6's inherent "weakness" below 2500 rpm that is so aggravating & hurts part-throttle driveability and fuel mileage.
