Hi BWF,

Well, there really is no such thing as "the chip with the best record," as there are no such formal "records" per se, but we know what you mean, no problem!

It's really a matter of who does the best powertrain programming on the vehicle platform you have a need for, that's what it comes down to and what you'll really want to know, and *that* is easy to get to.

Hands down, that's Superchips, as nobody else has near the amount of sheer R&D work devoted to the F-150 vehicle platform as Superchips has. And here at Troyer Performance we have a lot to do with the development of the Superchips programs for these Ford F-series platform vehicles, as that has been our core specialty for over a decade. We do a lot of testing, from dyno, street & track to heavy towing, etc., all the types of uses these vehicles see among their various owners.

There are 3 different Superchips products you can use on your 2003 F-150: the single program Superchip, the 2-program Superchip Flip Chip, and then what most people use, the Superchips Micro Tuner, which allows you to easily upload the performance tuning in just 10 minutes via a simple plug & play interface.

Just to give you some general info, the Superchip is the only performance chip/powertrain program that gives you a program made *specifically* to match the exact software revision in each individual vehicle's PCM (critically important, as there are *hundreds* of different PCM revisions each and every model year in the F-150), that tunes for maximum power at *all* throttle positions and not just on full-throttle only, and that is also 50-state emissions certified, having both EPA & CARB approvals. Other chips have 1 or at best, maybe 2 of those aspects, nobody else has all 3, only Superchips.

If you'd like to see how others feel about their Superchips, take some time to read thru this section of the message boards, and use the search feature, as that is your key to unlocking all the years of info here. There are literally thousands upon thousands of posts from Superchips owners here that you can read thru, and you'll enjoy seeing a lot of very detailed info. Using the search feature is easy, the icon is in the upper right area of your screen here. That's the best way to find such basic info as you're asking, as the people here who are using the product have already posted their impressions, results, etc. many, many times. so I wouldn't expect any significant number of replies, as this is a very basic question that has been asked & answered many, many times before, thus using the search feature us the best way for you to get info here.

You'll also want to take a look at all the Superchips products and highly detailed descriptions over on our web site, which is at: www.TroyerPerformance.com - once the home page loads, click on "Shop," and then you'll see all the individual product categories on the next page, including the Superchips category. Once there, click on the "List by Vehicle Type" link so you can scroll thru just the FoMoCo applications, and there you can read up on the 3 different Superchips products that can be used on your vehicle.

And of course, please feel free to give us a call if you'd like to go over any of this, or anything else performance-related about your truck, we're happy to help & our phone number is listed just below for your convenience.

I hope this info helps a bit, & best of luck with your truck!
