295/75/16 BFG, what do I need to do to the chip
Hi Stown,
This is easy to take care of.
Give us a call at our number listed below when you get a chance & we can take care of that for you. We'll do a new custom program and correct the speedometer & odometer to restore their accuracy, and that will also correct any inappropriate shift point symptoms that are a result of the tire size and/or gear ratio change in the automatic transmission models as well.

thanks , Mike I did that yesterday and have the forms I need to fill out and send it back in. This is off the subject but I am also thinking of switching from my Gibson super truck to the Magnaflow on my supercrew , any words of wisdom between the two?
Hi Stown,
OK, glad you've already got the forms, excellent!
Yes, going to the Magnaflow would certainly get you a larger horsepower gain than what you got with the Gibson, and more importantly to most truck owners, restore torque that was lost below 3000 rpm with the Gibson Super Truck system. So if you want to make that change, that would be a step up and a nice improvement to low end torque especially.
What we generally tell people is if the loss of low rpm torque isn't killing you, and you really like the sound of your present system, it's really not necessary to spend hundreds more dollars on yet another complete exhaust system. Instead, they could take that same money and do *other* modifications that would raise power further, as there is some HP gain with the Gibson Super Truck.
Now if it were *my* truck, yes, that Gibson would come off and the Magnaflow would go on, and that would happen very quickly. But that's me, others may feel differently.
You generally get about a 10-12 HP gain from that Gibson system on a 4.6 or 5.4 motor, compared to a 17-21 HP gain from the Magnaflow, just for comparison. And of course, you get your low end torque back too, which for some people is worth the price all by itself.
Only you can decide if you want to buy another exhaust system, but yes, if you do, then the Magnaflow certainly is worth having, it's the *only* system to have in our humble opinion, nobody can match their flow engineering. Compared to the Gibson Super Truck, the Magnaflow's got better performance results, it will not be quite as loud as the Super Truck is, nor will it "drone" inside the cabin the way those Super Truck systems sometimes can, depending on body configuration.
I hope that info helps you rather than confuses you, & give us a call if you'd like to go over that in more detail, OK?
Good luck!
