Crown Vic / Chip

Anyone know where or who sells a good chip for police 24 valve cars ? Heard the best one was a detectives chip don't know who makes them. Thanx for any info !

Yes, we offer performance programs for those Police package Crown Vics, etc., we've done *many* performance chips for law enforcement vehicles here at Performance.

Give us a call at our number listed below when you get a chance & we can take care of this for you right away.

By the way, the 4.6 engines in the Police package Crown Vic's are the standard 2-valve 4.6 SOHC's (meaning they have 1 intake and 1 exhaust valve in each of it's 8 cylinders, for a total of 16 valves.

The 4.6 & 5.4 DOHC motors, as found in certain Lincolns, the Ford Mustang Cobra from '96 on up etc., have twice as many valves, for a total of 32, and are generally referred to as the 4-valve motors, meaning 4 valves per cylinder (2 intakes & 2 exhausts). And of course, we can make chips for all of those applications as well. Just FYI in general.........................
