Thank you Performance Products and Mike T. Wow, what a difference. I installed the magnaflow exhaust this afternoon and took it for a test drive. The sound is perfect, I didn't want loud, buy I wanted it to be noticable. It has a nice deep growl to it. I noticed a pick up all the way around, it's quicker off the line and it jumps up and goes when I punch it at all speeds.
Then I installed the Superchip. It's exactly what these vehicles need. The shifts are perfect, there's no lag anymore, it changes gear and goes. I now have the belt squeal like others, I guess I have to change that next, or stop flooring the truck as often. It only does it when it shifts around 5200RPM.

Anyway, thank you Mike for your advice here. I hope I have to oportunity to contact you again for more truck toys!

Get a Goodyear Gatorback belt and you wont have that problem anymore. I think you need a 99" 8 rib. Mike can get them for you.

Selecting the right parts makes all the difference in the world in the actual results, and that's exaclty why we do all the testing we do, both formal and informal. What Magnaflow is doing for the flow engineerig of the exhausts in these trucks is magnificent, and the Superchips tuning wakes it up just that much more, that's a very nice combo.

And yes, you'll now have the infamous cheap Ford fan belt squeal, and the cure for that is simple as well, just replace the low-grade factory serpentine belt with the Goodyear Gatorback serpentine belt. We carry those in stock too, and they're much cheaper than the factory belt.
