my question is how much is the ford factory timing set to and how much does a superchip program advance it?

i am thinking about getting a steeda timing adjuster and was wondering what my timing would be running right now, as i have a superchip. it is on the original timing because i have never had it adjusted on the program.

is there anybody out there who has a steeda TA allready?

 

HI!... I believe it was JMC that called STEEDA about their timing adjuster a few months back. According to STEEDA it won't work on the truck 4.6's for some reason.

 

well i bought one of a guy in the classifieds on stangnet. i will be trying the install this weekend. everything looks like it should work. i dont know why it wouldnt. steeda said that the adjuster would work as long as clearance was not an issue.


now, does anybody know anything about the stock timing? is it 10* like mustangs? and how much does a superchip advance it?
